4th Grade News

In 4th Grade, we've been working through our Questions Unit, which led us to questions about inventors. That led us to look at the life of George Washington Carver. For the next few class periods, students will be researching information on Carver's life, his contributions to science specifically involving the peanut plant, and the uses the peanut plant has because of Carver's work. Students are using books, computers, and websites to gain more information and will be putting together a poster, Power Point presentation, or a Prezi to demonstrate the knowledge they've gained.
