Science Fair Transportation

Parents,

If your student is participating in the science fair, you are responsible for providing transportation to the Muscatine Mall Friday, March 27th.  Students are expected to arrive at noon for check in, and then judging is from 1 to 3 pm.  Awards are at 5 pm. You must let me or volunteer Shawna Trosen know when you are taking your student home. Some people elect to leave before the awards.

In the past, many parents have opted to get their child from school around 11:30 am  in order to get a bite to eat before heading to the mall.  Keep in mind, our lunch schedule here is 11:45 - 12:10.

If it is impossible for you to provide transportation, please let me know as soon as possible, so we can arrange for another parent to transport. In that case, you will need to sign a waiver allowing permission.

I plan to take the afternoon off to be at the mall with the science fair students.

Dear Parent or Guardian,

Your child has been approved to represent Mulberry Elementary at the Muscatine City Science Fair at the Muscatine Mall on Friday, March 27, 2015.  Please know you will need to provide transportation and supervision of your child at the City Science Fair. Students will be checked out from the school office at 11:00 a.m. This should give you and your child enough time to eat lunch and practice questions. If you are allowing another parent to transport or supervise child please indicate so below.  Students will need to register at the information desk before setting up their display at noon.  Judging will begin at 1 pm and continue through the afternoon with an awards ceremony at the end of the fair. The duration is uncertain, but in the past it has ended around 6 pm.
