4th, 5th, and select 6th grade students were able to meet Mike Graf, author of realistic fiction series Adventures with the Parkers. His stories take place in some of our nation's most famous National Parks, such as Yosemite, Yellowstone, and Mt. Rushmore. Students who completed an application and who were selected were invited to stay this afternoon and participate in a Writer's Workshop. Mr. Graf walked us through the process of writing, coming up with ideas, starting stories, using details, suspens, and other literary elements to make great stories.
