Visiting Author and Student Led Conferences

This week, on Tuesday, March 8th, we will have a special guest from 8:30 to 9:30 at Mulberry!  Visiting author, Dean Jacobs, will give an all school presentation about jungle animals in the gym.  He is widely renown, and we are fortunate to have him visit because of the generosity of the Stanley Foundation.  Tuesday our fifth grade students will miss specials because of the timing, but we know it will be worth it.

Next week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 15th and 16th, conferences will be held from 4:00 to 7:30 pm.  These will be student-led.  Your child will walk you through his or her latest learning in math and science in Mrs. Steele's room, and ELA and social studies in Mrs. Curry's room.  Be prepared to see amazing work, recent assessments, learning journals, and more!
