It was great meeting so
many of you this week at conferences! I’m so excited about having such a
wonderful group of parents who offer support and encouragement to their kids!

We are working on
multiplying multi-digit numbers and specifically looking at the distributive
property of multiplication. Exposure to this property, as well as the
commutative property, is foundational to algebra. Below are some samples of
what we’ve done in class regarding the different methods and ways of
demonstrating understanding.

We’ll be wrapping up our unit on the Solar System soon. Our next unit we
will be studying nutrition, and the human digestive system.
