Science Fair Information

For those of you whose children are participating in Friday's Science Fair, first of all, THANK YOU for helping your student! Thank you for spending time with them, and for arranging your schedule so you can pick him/her up from school around 11 am.  Enjoy a nice lunch, and head to the Muscatine Mall.  


To be eligible for the participation award a student must sign in and fill out a drawing ticket at science fair headquarters prior to setting up their project.  Each participant (not each project) may fill out a ticket when signing in.  Tickets must include the students name and the name of their science teacher. 

All exhibits should start setting up at the Muscatine Mall beginning at 12:00 p.m. Friday April 1, 2016. Promptness is encouraged to avoid as much confusion as possible in checking in entries. Judging will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday April 1, 2016. Each exhibitor (both team members) must be at their exhibit for judge interviews.  The exhibits will be open to the public. Presentation of awards will be on Friday beginning at approximately 5:00 p.m.  Exhibits are to be removed from the mall immediately after the awards ceremo­ny. Any exhibits left after the fair on Friday will be junked.  If you intend to discard your project please take it home and discard it from there.


The names of the finalists will be posted around 3:00 pm in the windows of Headquarters.  Awards will be presented in the central plaza starting at approximately 5:30 pm.
