Next week is ITBS testing week. We would like to give the students the best
testing environment as possible so they can show their best work. You can help your student by making sure
he/she gets to bed a little earlier than normal, has a healthy breakfast each
morning, and through your encouragement.
(“I love you, do your best, I’m so proud of you, you can do it, keep
pressing on,” etc)
There are four parts. We will be testing in the morning
every day next week, and will reserve Friday for makeups.
Monday – Vocabulary
Tuesday – Reading
Wednesday – Science
Thursday – Math
Friday – Make up tests

Next, we have begun our last math module. Please see the attached parent guide for
further information. We are graphing coordinates on x- and y-axis. I’ve embedded practice problems into the
online Prodigy game. Students can also practice math concepts in Front Row and
Moby Max (Test Prep Math). Students know
their usernames and passwords, but if you’re having problems, please contact
me.
In science, we are continuing to investigate controlled
experiments and changing one variable at a time.
